White Horse 2 Litre 1980s

$425 AUD

Now here is something exciting. A large bottle of White Horse from the period when the blend was of very high-quality because of the “whisky loch” when a much higher proportion of aged malts went into well established blends. Here we have a whopping 2 litre bottle with a pouring handle and – most unusually – the original box, although it has had some wear. Complete with neck label, which is slightly creased at the back.

Shipping, however, will be at the standard rate for a single 75cl bottle.

White Horse

A much-loved blend from the old DCL stable – forgive the pun – which Diageo still promotes in many overseas markets, including Japan.

It sold 1.5 million cases in 2015 but dropped to 1.3 million in 2016. Hopefully, that decline can be arrested.

There is more about White Horse and the brand’s history and associated distilleries under the White Horse Story.
