Sullivans Cove TD0137 Single Cask American Oak Cask Strength

$1,150 AUD

69.1% ABV

700ml

Distilled in September of 2006 and bottled in December of 2017, this eleven-year-old, single cask single malt was aged in a 200L American Oak ex-bourbon cask. It is bottled at cask strength, a massive 69.1% ABV.

There are only 172 bottles of this whisky, and this is the elusive bottle no 99.

Known for a malt-forward and dessert-heavy profile, it typically features rich truffles, lemon custard, cinnamon bun, sugary frosting, and bready malt characteristics, all balanced by its high cask strength.

This product is located in Australia.

Sullivans Cove

Australia’s most awarded distillery and one of the country’s modern whisky distilling pioneers, Sullivans Cove has achieved great success in recent years, including international recognition when their French Oak Single Cask was crowned World’s Best Single Malt in 2014 by the World Whiskies Awards. This, alongside exemplary ratings from Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible, propelled Sullivans Cove into the spotlight, but with limited stock and a long maturation period, their whiskies are highly sought after and very hard to find.
