William M. Dowd
Sit back with your favorite dram and enjoy this imaginative collection of essays by some of the most notable whisky authors in the world, including Jim Murray, Charles Maclean, Bill Owens, Paul Pacult, Charles Cowdery and Tom Bruce-Gardyne. Although there is no particular theme it all hangs together rather well under William Dowd’s competent editorship. Although the usual favorite subjects are covered there are some interesting subsidiary topics, such as “The Mathematics of Prohibition”, “Become a Collector” and “Undertake Home Vatting”. Nice to dip into with a dram at your side rather than to be read from cover to cover.
