An early triple distilled single malt from Hunnington Distillery. It was aged a little over two years in a twenty litre Australian sherry barrel. There were only 48 500ml bottles.

Bill Lark provided tasting notes.  This is what he said:

Nose

A rich nose steeped in dark chocolate and minced fruit soaking in alcohol. Hints of a wonderful sherry cask shining through a silver cloud.

Taste 

This immediately brings to mind plum pudding simmering in a hot pan, with butter and caramelised sugar. The spirit moves across the palate allowing the malty, sherry notes to dominate the middle palate. A deeply rich and wonderfully balanced whisky - long and warm on the finish.
