The white plastic horse on the yellow plinth is quite familiar but to see it complete with matching lampshade and functioning is quite unusual. This probably dates from the 1970s and to have it in such good clean condition after all these years is quite an achievement.

A much-loved blend from the old DCL stable – forgive the pun – which Diageo still promotes in many overseas markets, including Japan.

It sold 1.5 million cases in 2015 but dropped to 1.3 million in 2016. Hopefully, that decline can be arrested.
