Although this book’s subsidiary title is Small-Scale Production of Brandies, Schnapps and Liquors” it actually has something of interest for anyone at the craft end of distilling and, as we know, many distillers of small batch whisky are inevitably looking to produce other categories not only because it adds additional income streams but makes the whole process of distilling so much more interesting.

Whilst it is somewhat Germanic in approach and, like most translated books, sometimes slightly stilted, there are, nevertheless, some valuable insights and advice for the budding craft distiller.
